Stat. tit. 73, § 73-1","heading":"Seat of government and capitol established","body":"The seat of government and capitol of the State of Oklahoma\n\nshall be and is hereby established at Oklahoma City, in the county\n\nof Oklahoma, in the said state; and the permanent capitol of the\n\nstate shall be erected on the following described lands: Fifteen\n\n(15) acres of land surrounding a point on the half-section line\n\nrunning north and south between the northeast fourth and the\n\nnorthwest fourth of section twenty-seven (27), township twelve (12)\n\nnorth, range three (3) west of the Indian Meridian, otherwise known\n\nas the center of Lincoln Boulevard at its intersection with the\n\ncenter of Twenty-second street, extending east from the right-of-way\n\nof the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company; and the\n\nExecutive Mansion shall be located in the vicinity of said capitol\n\ngrounds on a site consisting of one-half (1/2) block, the same to be\n\nselected by the Capitol Commission.","path":["OK Code","Title 73"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os73.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b14a2fca8f2adb9525584246122d8c62787a20494059b9b5ef41d4ef41943506","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-73-206","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-73-73-15"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
