Stat. tit. 73, § 73-153-A","heading":"Buildings for Department of Public Safety - Location -","body":"Financing.\n\n(a) The Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority is hereby\n\nauthorized to erect, operate and maintain a building or buildings\n\nfor the use of the State Department of Public Safety, the place of\n\nerection to be upon the state-owned land at Northeast 36th Street\n\nand Eastern Avenue in Oklahoma City.\n\n(b) For the purpose of paying the costs of the projects\n\nauthorized in subsection (a) above, the Authority is hereby\n\nauthorized to borrow money on the credit of the income and revenues\n\nto be derived from such projects and, in anticipation of the\n\ncollection of such income and revenues, to issue negotiable bonds\n\nnot to exceed the sum of One Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars\n\n($1,300,000.00) as may, in the opinion of the Authority, be\n\nnecessary for such purposes, and is authorized to provide for the\n\npayment of such bonds and the rights of the holders thereof, as\n\nprovided in 73 O.S.1961, Section 153, for other bonds issued by the\n\nAuthority; provided that the bonds issued hereunder, the income and\n\nrevenues from the projects herein authorized, and the expenses of\n\noperating such projects shall not be commingled with the bonds\n\nheretofore issued or the income and revenues of the buildings\n\nheretofore built or the expenses of operating such existing\n\nbuildings.\n\n(c) The provisions of 73 O.S.1961, Sections 151 through 166,\n\nboth inclusive, insofar as the same are not in conflict herewith,\n\nshall apply to and govern this act, and the execution of the\n\nauthorization herein contained. All mandates, authorizations and\n\nconditions therein prescribed shall be applicable to this act.\n\n(d) It shall be the duty of the Attorney General to represent\n\nthe Authority in the execution of the provisions of this act, and\n\nsuch Authority shall not employ or pay any sums of money to any\n\nprivate attorney or attorneys.\n\n(e) The State Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to\n\npurchase from the Authority, and the Authority is hereby authorized\n\nand directed to sell to the State Treasurer, at private sale, at\n\npar, all of the bonds issued under this act, as an investment of the\n\npublic monies in his possession.
