Stat. tit. 73, § 73-160","heading":"Approval of bonds by Supreme Court","body":"The Oklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority may file an\n\napplication with the Supreme Court of Oklahoma for the approval of\n\nbonds issued hereunder, and exclusive original jurisdiction is\n\nhereby conferred upon the Supreme Court to hear and determine each\n\napplication. The court shall give the applications precedence over\n\nthe other business of the court and consider and pass upon the\n\napplications and any protests which may be filed thereto as speedily\n\nas possible. Notice of the hearing on each application shall be\n\ngiven by notice published in a newspaper of general circulation in\n\nthe state that on a day named the Authority will ask the court to\n\nhear its application and approve the bonds. The notice shall inform\n\nall persons interested that they may file protests against the\n\nissuance of the bonds and be present at the hearing and contest the\n\nlegality thereof. The notice shall be published one time not less\n\nthan ten (10) days prior to the date named for the hearing and the\n\nhearing may be adjourned from time to time in the discretion of the\n\ncourt. If the court shall be satisfied that the bonds or any\n\nportions thereof have been properly authorized in accordance with\n\nthis act and the Constitution of Oklahoma, and that when issued they\n\nwill constitute valid obligations in accordance with their terms,\n\nthe court shall render its written opinion approving the bonds and\n\nshall fix the time within which a petition for rehearing may be\n\nfiled. The decision of the court shall be a judicial determination\n\nof the validity of the bonds, shall be conclusive as to the\n\nAuthority, the State of Oklahoma, its officers, agents and\n\ninstrumentalities, and all other persons, and thereafter the bonds\n\nso approved and the rents and revenues pledged to their payment\n\nshall be incontestable in any court in the State of Oklahoma.","path":["OK Code","Title 73"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os73.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"28899187675e78d7f655f0d826870d311005255d6bf761671f44eb0af12bc20c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-73-73-159.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-73-73-161"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
