Stat. tit. 73, § 73-187A-13","heading":"Utilization of LCF funds for the University Hospitals","body":"Authority.\n\nA. In addition to any other authorization provided by law, the\n\nOklahoma Capitol Improvement Authority is authorized to utilize\n\navailable funds from the Legacy Capital Financing Fund created by\n\nSection 187B of Title 73 of the Oklahoma Statutes, in the amount of\n\nTwo Hundred Million Dollars ($200,000,000.00) for the benefit of\n\nUniversity Hospitals Authority to construct, refurbish, or expand\n\nhospital facilities associated with the specialization of diagnosing\n\nand treatment of heart conditions in children, commonly referred to\n\nas a \"pediatric heart hospital\".\n\nB. LCF Recapitalization Payments shall be made related to the\n\ndistribution of proceeds provided in subsection A of this section,\n\nin accordance with the provisions of the Legacy Capital Financing\n\nAct, provided that the twenty-year recapitalization period and\n\nassociated recapitalization payments shall not begin until the state\n\nfiscal year beginning July 1, 2026.\n\nC. The Authority may distribute funds authorized pursuant to\n\nsubsection A of this section in one or more tranches.\n\nD. The Authority may enter memoranda of understanding with\n\nagencies, departments, and subdivisions of the state as needed, to\n\nfacilitate the provisions of this act, provided that such memoranda\n\nof understanding do not constitute a legal obligation of the State\n\nof Oklahoma or impede the administration of the provisions of the\n\nLegacy Capital Financing Act.","path":["OK Code","Title 73"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os73.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"75f963f1f33d4b341b927e464dce211b5747c10b9c11fbf8edccdccf5dbd2053","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-73-73-187a-12","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-73-73-187a-14"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
