The Oklahoma Capitol Complex and Centennial Commemoration\n\nCommission shall administer the Oklahoma Historic Capitols\n\nPreservation Program. The Commission shall coordinate its\n\nactivities with the Oklahoma Historic Preservation Officer at the\n\nOklahoma Historical Society for those rehabilitation or preservation\n\nprojects involving historic capitol buildings.\n\nB. All entities that have jurisdiction over an historic capitol\n\nbuilding may apply to the Commission for a grant for an historic\n\ncapitol building project. The application for a project must:\n\n1. State the location of the historic capitol building;\n\n2. State whether the historic capitol building is listed on the\n\nNational Register of Historic Places;\n\n3. State the amount of monies or in-kind contributions that the\n\napplicant promises to contribute to the project and the methods by\n\nwhich they will be provided;\n\n4. State in what capacity the historic capitol building is\n\ncurrently functioning;\n\n5. Include any plans, including but not limited to a master\n\npreservation plan, that the applicant may have for the project; and\n\n6. Include any other information that the Commission by rule\n\nmay require.\n\nC. The Commission may award a grant to an applicant that has\n\njurisdiction over a historic capitol building for the purpose of\n\npreserving or rehabilitating the historic capitol building, if the\n\napplication meets the standards of the program. In considering\n\nwhether to award a grant, the Commission shall consider the factors\n\nlisted in this section and any other factors that the Commission may\n\nadopt by rule. In considering whether to award a grant, the\n\nCommission shall consider the following factors:\n\n1. Historic capitol buildings which still function as\n\ngovernmental buildings;\n\n2. The cost to preserve or rehabilitate the historic capitol\n\nbuilding; and\n\n3. Other factors that the Commission may by rule adopt.\n\nD. The Commission, by rule, may set a limit on the grant amount\n\nfor a project. These amounts may be expressed as a dollar amount or\n\nas a percentage of the total amount appropriated for implementing\n\nthe program during a fiscal year.\n\nE.
