There is hereby created the \"Joint Committee on State-Tribal\n\nRelations\". The Committee shall be responsible for overseeing and\n\napproving agreements between tribal governments and the State of\n\nOklahoma. The Committee shall consist of ten (10) members, to be\n\nappointed as follows:\n\n1. Five members of the Senate to be appointed by the President\n\nPro Tempore of the Senate; and\n\n2. Five members of the House of Representatives to be appointed\n\nby the Speaker of the House of Representatives.\n\nB. The chairman and vice-chairman of the Committee shall be\n\ndesignated from the membership of the Committee by the Speaker of\n\nthe House of Representatives and the President Pro Tempore of the\n\nSenate as provided for in this subsection. The President Pro\n\nTempore of the Senate shall designate the initial chairman who shall\n\nserve until the convening of the First Regular Session of the 44th\n\nOklahoma Legislature. The Speaker of the House of Representatives\n\nshall designate the initial vice-chairman who shall serve until the\n\nconvening of the First Regular Session of the 44th Oklahoma\n\nLegislature. Thereafter, the chairmanship shall alternate every two\n\n(2) years between the House of Representatives and the Senate,\n\nbeginning with the convening of the First Regular Session of the\n\nLegislature.\n\nC. All members of the Committee shall serve at the pleasure of\n\nthe appointing authority.\n\nD. All actions of the Committee shall require a quorum which\n\nshall be defined as a majority of the members appointed. Approval\n\nof any agreement pursuant to Section 1221 of this title by the\n\nCommittee shall be determined by a majority of the quorum present.\n\nE.
