Stat. tit. 74, § 74-1314.5","heading":"Procurement of supplemental health insurance - Self-","body":"insurance.\n\nA. The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission shall attempt to\n\nobtain the supplemental health insurance described in Section 1314.4\n\nof this title through competitive procurement under The Central\n\nPurchasing Act. If the Commission does not obtain such supplemental\n\nhealth insurance in this manner, it shall contract with the Oklahoma\n\nHealth Care Authority for such coverage or the Commission may\n\nprovide the supplemental health insurance through a self-insurance\n\nprogram.\n\nB. If the Commission decides to contract with the Authority for\n\nthe supplemental health insurance coverage, the Authority is\n\nexpressly authorized and directed to enter into such a contract and\n\nadminister the supplemental benefit in such manner to cause the\n\nleast disruption to its systems and daily operations. The\n\nsupplemental benefit does not have to be offered as a supplemental\n\nplan but can be combined with the state plan to be administered and\n\nactuarially rated as a single plan. If this option is chosen, all\n\ndependents of employees or former employees currently eligible for\n\nthe supplemental health insurance shall be included in the plan,\n\nregardless of whether or not the dependents were previously included\n\nin the plan, and this subsection will prevail over the provisions of\n\nSection 1314.3 of this title. The Commission shall pay the full\n\nactuarial cost to be determined by the Authority and all reasonable\n\nadministrative costs for such coverage, if provided by or through\n\nthe Authority. The Authority may consider the utilization\n\nexperience of the group participating in the benefit when\n\ncalculating the rate for providing the benefit. The Authority shall\n\nmaintain separate reserves for said coverage.\n\nC.
