A county, upon adoption of a resolution by the board of\n\ncounty commissioners, may participate in the Disability Insurance\n\nProgram administered by the Oklahoma Employees Insurance and\n\nBenefits Board. Upon the filing of a certified copy of the\n\nresolution with the Board, the county shall become a participant on\n\nthe first day of the second full month following the filing of the\n\nresolution. All employees of any county electing to participate in\n\nthe Program shall have disability insurance coverage. The county\n\nshall forward to the Board, at such times as determined by the\n\nBoard, the contributions necessary to pay for the disability\n\ninsurance coverage of the employees of the county. The Board shall\n\ndetermine the amount of contribution required for the disability\n\ninsurance coverage.\n\nB. A city, upon adoption of a resolution by the municipal\n\ngoverning body, may participate in the Disability Insurance Program\n\nadministered by the Oklahoma Employees Insurance and Benefits Board.\n\nUpon the filing of a certified copy of the resolution with the\n\nBoard, the city shall become a participant on the first day of the\n\nsecond full month following the filing of the resolution. All\n\nemployees of any city electing to participate in the Program shall\n\nhave disability insurance coverage. The city shall forward to the\n\nBoard, at such times as determined by the Board, the contributions\n\nnecessary to pay for the disability insurance coverage of the\n\nemployees of the city.
