Stat. tit. 74, § 74-1366.1","heading":"Contracts relating to plan year beginning January 1,","body":"2003 - Duties of Board.\n\nNotwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, for\n\ncontracts relating to the plan year beginning January 1, 2003, and\n\nfor each plan year thereafter, the Oklahoma Employees Insurance and\n\nBenefits Board shall:\n\na. develop geographic service areas and list the zip\n\ncodes contained in such service areas. Each\n\nparticipating health maintenance organization shall\n\nnot be required to offer enrollment in every service\n\narea as a condition to participation in the State\n\nAccount,\n\nb. not require participating health maintenance\n\norganizations to offer a Medicare supplement plan.\n\nHowever, if the participating health maintenance\n\norganization offers a Medicare supplement plan to\n\nother entities within this state then it shall be\n\nrequired to offer a Medicare supplement plan,\n\nc. require participating health maintenance organizations\n\nto meet the standardized benefit plan as required by\n\nthe Oklahoma Employees Insurance and Benefits Board.\n\nHowever, participating health maintenance\n\norganizations may offer enhancements in an effort to\n\nmake their plans more attractive and competitive, and\n\nd. ensure that all premiums are paid to participating\n\nhealth maintenance organizations within sixty (60)\n\ncalendar days from receipt of the bill.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"fcc4286f2baa73984020b94f2817d4daa65720b1703aac3290b31cf5b0b85c39","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-1366","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-1366.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
