Stat. tit. 74, § 74-1366.2","heading":"Development of service areas - Medicare supplement","body":"plans not required to be offered - Standardized benefit plan -\n\nPayment of collected premiums.\n\nNotwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, for\n\ncontracts relating to the plan year beginning January 1, 2003, and\n\nfor each plan year thereafter, the Oklahoma Employees Insurance and\n\nBenefits Board shall:\n\na. develop geographic service areas and list the zip\n\ncodes contained in such service areas. Each\n\nparticipating health maintenance organization shall\n\nnot be required to offer enrollment in every service\n\narea as a condition to participation in the State\n\nAccount,\n\nb. not require participating health maintenance\n\norganizations to offer a Medicare supplement plan;\n\nprovided, however, any participating health\n\nmaintenance organization that offers a Medicare\n\nsupplement plan to other entities within this state\n\nshall be required to offer a Medicare supplement plan,\n\nc. require participating health maintenance organizations\n\nto meet the standardized benefit plan as required by\n\nthe Oklahoma Employees Insurance and Benefits Board;\n\nprovided, however, participating health maintenance\n\norganizations may offer enhancements in an effort to\n\nmake their plans more attractive and competitive, and\n\nd. ensure that all premiums collected are paid to\n\nparticipating health maintenance organizations within\n\nsixty (60) calendar days of receipt.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d37a9b1a9428a1175a70e84fb3a2b6184fbb63c7adfb89bc27adf00409ab4495","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-1366.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-1368"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
