A uniform crime reporting system shall be established by the\n\nOklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. The Director shall have the\n\npower and duty, when directed by the Commission, to collect and\n\ngather such information from such state agencies as may be\n\nprescribed in Section 150.1 et seq. of this title.\n\nB. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is hereby\n\ndesignated as the agency which shall collect, gather, assemble and\n\ncollate such information as is prescribed by this section.\n\nC. 1. All state, county, city and town law enforcement\n\nagencies shall submit reports to the Oklahoma State Bureau of\n\nInvestigation on forms prescribed by the Bureau. The reports shall\n\ncontain the number and nature of offenses committed within their\n\nrespective jurisdictions, the disposition of such matters, and such\n\nother information as the Bureau may require, respecting information\n\nrelating to the cause and prevention of crime, recidivism, the\n\nrehabilitation of criminals and the proper administration of\n\ncriminal justice.\n\n2. Any information taken from such information, data, records\n\nor reports submitted to the uniform crime reporting system and used\n\nto prepare the Uniform Crime Report shall be an open record pursuant\n\nto the Oklahoma Open Records Act. Requests for such information\n\nshall be submitted to the Bureau.\n\n3. Any request under the Oklahoma Open Records Act for any\n\nother information, data, records or reports submitted to the uniform\n\ncrime reporting system by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation\n\nshall be directed to the Bureau pursuant to Section 24A.20 of Title\n\n51 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Such information, data, records or\n\nreports shall be considered investigative records of the Bureau and\n\nshall be subject to discovery and disclosure only in compliance with\n\nSection 150.5 of this title or other applicable statute.\n\n4. Any request under the Oklahoma Open Records Act for any\n\ninformation, data, records or reports submitted by a law enforcement\n\nagency other than the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to the\n\nuniform crime reporting system shall be directed to the law\n\nenforcement agency submitting the information, data, records or\n\nreports to the Bureau unit pursuant to Section 24A.20 of Title 51 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes. Such information, data, records or reports\n\nshall be considered law enforcement records and shall be subject to\n\ndiscovery and disclosure only in compliance with Section 24A.8 of\n\nTitle 51 of the Oklahoma Statutes or other applicable statute.\n\nD. Upon receipt of such information the Director shall have\n\nsuch data collated and formulated and shall compile such statistics\n\nas the Director may deem necessary in order to present a proper\n\nclassification and analysis of the volume and nature of crime and\n\nthe administration of criminal justice within this state.\n\nE.
