Effective July 1, 2009, the Criminal Justice Resource Center\n\nof the Legislative Service Bureau shall be transferred to the\n\nOklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the Office of the\n\nAttorney General as follows:\n\n1. The functions of the Criminal Justice Resource Center\n\nrelating to administration and research shall be transferred to the\n\nOffice of Criminal Justice Statistics, which is hereby created\n\nwithin the Information Services Division of the Oklahoma State\n\nBureau of Investigation;\n\n2. The functions of the Criminal Justice Resource Center\n\nrelating to data processing and information technology shall be\n\ntransferred to the Information Technology Systems Division of the\n\nOklahoma State Bureau of Investigation; and\n\n3. The functions of the Criminal Justice Resource Center\n\nrelating to the Domestic Violence Fatality Review Board shall be\n\ntransferred to the Office of the Attorney General.\n\nAll unexpended funds, property, records, personnel and any\n\noutstanding financial obligations or encumbrances of the Criminal\n\nJustice Resource Center are hereby transferred to the entities\n\nspecified in this subsection.\n\nB. Effective July 1, 2009, the personnel transferred from the\n\nCriminal Justice Resource Center to the Oklahoma State Bureau of\n\nInvestigation and the Office of the Attorney General and persons\n\noccupying the position of any such personnel on July 1, 2009, shall\n\nbecome employees of such agencies and shall not be subject to the\n\nprovisions of the Merit System of Personnel Administration.\n\nC. Effective July 1, 2009, any reference in the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes to the Criminal Justice Resource Center shall be a\n\nreference to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation or the\n\nOffice of the Attorney General, as appropriate with respect to the\n\ncontent of the reference.\n\nD.
