The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation shall establish\n\nor provide for a legal division and the Director may employ\n\nattorneys as needed, which attorneys, in addition to advising the\n\nDirector, the Commission and employees of the Bureau on legal\n\nmatters, may appear for and represent the Director, the Commission\n\nand employees of the Bureau in administrative hearings and other\n\nlegal actions and proceedings. No attorney of the Bureau shall\n\nenter an appearance in a criminal action nor engage in private\n\npractice of the law while in the employment of the Oklahoma State\n\nBureau of Investigation, except for the purpose of representing the\n\nagency in motions to quash subpoenas, other discovery matters,\n\nexpungement applications, evidentiary hearings, forfeiture\n\nproceedings or when requested to do so by another prosecuting\n\nauthority.\n\nB.
