An officer, investigator, or agent of the Oklahoma State\n\nBureau of Investigation, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Narcotics and\n\nDangerous Drugs Control, the Department of Wildlife Conservation,\n\nthe Law Enforcement Division of the Oklahoma Horse Racing\n\nCommission, the State Fire Marshal's Office, the Oklahoma Tourism\n\nand Recreation Department, the Office of Inspector General and the\n\nOklahoma Child Support Services divisions of the Department of Human\n\nServices, a Probation and Parole officer or Internal Affairs agent\n\nof the Department of Corrections, law enforcement officers employed\n\nby the Grand River Dam Authority, a campus police officer, as\n\ndefined in Section 360.16 of this title, or the office of a district\n\nattorney shall be entitled to receive, upon retirement by reason of\n\nlength of service, the continued custody and possession of the\n\nsidearm and badge carried by such officer, investigator or agent\n\nimmediately prior to retirement.\n\nB. An officer, investigator or agent specified in subsection A\n\nof this section may be entitled to receive, upon retirement by\n\nreason of disability, the continued custody and possession of the\n\nsidearm and badge carried by such officer or agent immediately prior\n\nto retirement upon written approval of the applicable Director of\n\nthe appropriate Bureau, Department, Commission or district attorney.\n\nC. Custody and possession of the sidearm and badge of an\n\nofficer, investigator or agent who dies while employed by any\n\nBureau, Department, Commission or office specified in subsection A\n\nof this section may be awarded by the applicable Director of the\n\nappropriate Bureau, Department, Commission or office to the spouse\n\nor next of kin of the deceased officer, investigator or agent.\n\nD. A correctional officer or a peace officer of the Department\n\nof Corrections shall be entitled to receive, upon retirement by\n\nreason of length of service, the continued custody and possession of\n\nthe firearm and badge carried by such officer immediately prior to\n\nretirement.\n\nE. In addition to the firearm carried by a correctional officer\n\nor a peace officer of the Department of Corrections, the retired\n\ncorrectional officer or peace officer may purchase the rifle or\n\nshotgun, or both, issued to the correctional officer or peace\n\nofficer immediately prior to retirement. The cost to the retired\n\nofficer of purchasing the rifle or shotgun, or both, shall be the\n\nprice the Department of Corrections paid at the time of purchase,\n\nand upon payment of that price, the retired correctional officer or\n\npeace officer shall be entitled to ownership of the rifle or\n\nshotgun, or both.\n\nF. In addition to the sidearm carried by a retired agent of the\n\nOklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the retired agent may\n\npurchase the rifle or shotgun, or both, issued to the retired agent\n\nimmediately prior to retirement.
