There is hereby established the \"Firearms Laboratory\n\nImprovement Fund\". The fund shall be a continuing fund for the\n\nOklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. The fund shall not be\n\nsubject to fiscal year limitations and shall consist of monies\n\nreceived from all state agencies which seize assets pursuant to the\n\nUniform Controlled Dangerous Substances Act during the fiscal year\n\nending June 30, 1994. Each agency's contribution shall be\n\ndetermined on a pro rata basis based on the percentage of\n\nforfeitures collected by the agency during the fiscal year ending\n\nJune 30, 1993, in relation to the total monetary value of all\n\nforfeitures collected by all agencies contributing to the fund. The\n\namount each agency is to contribute shall be determined by the\n\nDirector of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services and the\n\nCabinet Secretary for Safety and Security. Funds shall be\n\ntransferred pursuant to a time schedule established by the Director\n\nof the Office of Management and Enterprise Services and the Cabinet\n\nSecretary for Safety and Security, but all such funds shall be\n\ntransferred as available. The total amount of money to be paid into\n\nthe fund shall not exceed One Hundred Forty-five Thousand Dollars\n\n($145,000.00). Funds collected in the Drugfire Project Fund during\n\nthe 1994 fiscal year shall be carried over into the Firearms\n\nLaboratory Improvement Fund. Expenditures from the fund shall be\n\nmade upon warrants issued by the State Treasurer against claims\n\nfiled as prescribed by law with the Director of the Office of\n\nManagement and Enterprise Services for approval and payment.\n\nB. The Firearms Laboratory Improvement Fund shall be used to\n\nupgrade the firearms laboratory services of the Oklahoma State\n\nBureau of Investigation criminalistics laboratory. Expenditures\n\nfrom the fund shall be used only for training of personnel, matching\n\nfunds for federal grants to obtain laboratory instrumentation, the\n\npurchase of laboratory instrumentation and equipment, and to upgrade\n\nexisting laboratory instrumentation and equipment. If the Firearms\n\nLaboratory Improvement Fund is not expended by June 30, 1996, funds\n\ncontributed by agencies shall be repaid to the agencies.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4afedf1ef3cfa6499a805870de6845ee90d83c42401694f030f2733d4fcabd72","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-150.31","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-150.34"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
