The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation shall establish\n\nan Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit for the primary\n\npurpose of investigating Internet crimes committed against children,\n\nincluding, but not limited to, offenses related to child sexual\n\nabuse material and solicitation of minors for sexual abuse material,\n\nprostitution or sex-related offenses. The unit shall additionally\n\npromote safe Internet use among children and their parents by\n\nvarious media or printed-material campaigns or by offering\n\neducational programs to schools or communities throughout this\n\nstate. The Bureau shall employ sufficient employees to investigate\n\nand implement the ICAC unit.\n\nB. The Director of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation\n\nis hereby authorized to enter into local cooperative agreements with\n\nlocal law enforcement agencies for the purpose of appointing ICAC\n\nAffiliate Task Force Agents to assist the ICAC unit of the Bureau.\n\nICAC Affiliate Task Force Agents shall be employees and commissioned\n\nlaw enforcement officers of the local law enforcement agency\n\nentering into agreement with the Oklahoma State Bureau of\n\nInvestigation and shall not be employees of the Bureau. ICAC\n\nAffiliate Task Force Agents shall have general peace officer powers\n\nand the authority to arrest persons throughout the state for the\n\npurpose of investigating Internet crimes committed against children\n\nincluding, but not limited to, offenses related to child sexual\n\nabuse material, solicitation of minors for sexual abuse material,\n\nprostitution or sex-related offenses. ICAC Affiliate Task Force\n\nAgents shall promote safe Internet use among children and parents of\n\nchildren by various media or printed-material campaigns or by\n\noffering educational programs to schools or communities throughout\n\nOklahoma. The Director of the Bureau may renew, suspend or revoke\n\nany agreement appointing an ICAC Affiliate Task Force Agent at any\n\ntime.
