Before purchasing or acquiring pipeline equipment, oil field\n\nequipment or used materials, a dealer, broker, or peddler shall\n\nrequire that a bill of sale or invoice for the used materials be\n\nexecuted by the seller or the person who acquires the pipeline\n\nequipment, oil field equipment or used materials. The dealer,\n\nbroker, or peddler shall keep a copy of each bill of sale or invoice\n\nat the place of business of the dealer, broker or peddler.\n\nB. The bill of sale or invoice shall include:\n\n1. The name and address of the dealer, broker, or peddler;\n\n2. The serial or other identifying number of the pipeline\n\nequipment, oil field equipment or used materials, if available;\n\n3. The kind, make, size, weight, length, and quantity of the\n\npipeline equipment, oil field equipment or used materials purchased\n\nor acquired;\n\n4. The date of the purchase or acquisition, if different from\n\nthe date of the bill of sale or invoice;\n\n5. The name and address of the seller; and\n\n6. The legal description and well name or physical address of\n\nthe property at the time purchased or acquired.\n\nC. A dealer, broker or peddler shall keep at the place of\n\nbusiness of the dealer, broker or peddler all records required to be\n\nkept pursuant to this section for two (2) years after the date of\n\nthe purchase or acquisition of the materials.\n\nD.
