Stat. tit. 74, § 74-152.2","heading":"Definitions","body":"For purposes of this act:\n\n1. “Broker” means every person whose primary business is\n\nbuying, selling, or otherwise dealing in used materials as agent for\n\nthe seller of the used materials, or as agent for the buyer of the\n\nused materials, or as agent for both;\n\n2. \"Bureau\" means the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation;\n\n3. “Dealer” means every person whose primary business is\n\nbuying, selling, or otherwise dealing in used materials and who has\n\na fixed, designated place or places of business within this state;\n\n4. \"Director\" means the Director of the Oklahoma State Bureau\n\nof Investigation;\n\n5. \"Gas\" means natural gas, including casinghead gas, and any\n\nand all other hydrocarbons not defined as oil;\n\n6. \"Load ticket\" means an invoice or other shipping paper\n\ndescribed and required by Section 1013 of Title 68 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes or other manifest required by state or federal law\n\ndescribing the cargo;\n\n7. \"Oil\" means crude petroleum oil, and any other liquid\n\nhydrocarbons, regardless of gravity, which are produced at the well\n\nin liquid form by ordinary production methods;\n\n8. \"Oil field equipment\" means equipment, machinery or\n\nmaterials that are part of or incident to drilling, well servicing,\n\nexploration, development, maintenance, production, transportation\n\nand operation of oil and gas properties and includes equipment and\n\nmaterials that are part of or incident to the construction,\n\nmaintenance and operation of oil and gas wells, oil and gas leases,\n\ngasoline plants and refineries;\n\n9. \"Oil reclaimer\" means any person who reclaims, salvages, or\n\nin any manner removes or extracts oil from the waste products\n\nassociated with the production, storage, and transportation of oil,\n\nincluding but not limited to salt water, and the residue from oil\n\nstorage tank bottoms;\n\n10. “Peddler” means every person who is not a dealer or broker\n\nand whose primary business is buying, selling, or otherwise dealing\n\nin used materials;\n\n11. \"Person\" means any individual, copartnership, corporation,\n\ncommon law or statutory trust or association of whatever character;\n\n12. “Pipeline equipment” means all pipes, fitting, pumps,\n\ntelephone and telegraph lines, and all other material and equipment\n\nused as part of or incident to the construction, maintenance and\n\noperation of a pipeline for the transportation of oil, gas, water,\n\nor other liquid or gaseous substance;\n\n13. \"Transportation\" or \"transport\" means the movement of oil\n\nor gas or salt water by any vehicle in this state. The term does\n\nnot include movement by railroad tank car or by pipeline. The term\n\ntransportation or transport shall not apply to the transportation of\n\noil or gas when such oil or gas is contained in the ordinary\n\nequipment of a motor vehicle and is used only for the operation of\n\nthe motor vehicle in which contained;\n\n14. \"Transporter\" means any person who actually transports oil\n\nor gas or salt water in any vehicle on any road, street, or highway\n\nin this state;\n\n15. \"Unlawful gas\" means gas transported or taken in violation\n\nof any law of this state;\n\n16. \"Unlawful oil\" means any oil transported or taken in\n\nviolation of any law of this state;\n\n17. “Used materials” means pipeline equipment or oil field\n\nequipment after the equipment has once been placed in the use for\n\nwhich it first was manufactured and intended; and\n\n18. \"Vehicle\" means every device upon or in which any person or\n\nproperty is or may be transported or drawn.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e01055a221fa1f460dda80bbc6bae26461d2a402e2c56cf6937a7f506b08ae3a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-152.12","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-152.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
