An agency may make direct payments not to exceed Five\n\nThousand Dollars ($5,000.00) in any twelve-month period, on behalf\n\nof an eligible employee to any private or public entity for which a\n\nqualified education loan expense is owed by the employee.\n\nB. With regard to payments made under this act, an agency shall\n\nnot make cumulative payments on behalf of any single employee that\n\ntotal an amount greater than Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00).\n\nC.
