The Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission is hereby\n\nauthorized to lease, purchase, or otherwise acquire the land between\n\nKelley Avenue and Eastern Avenue within the boundary of Northeast\n\n63rd Street on the north and Deep Fork Creek on the south and\n\nextending along the public right-of-way of Interstate Highway Number\n\n240 to the junction of Interstate Highway Number 35, three-quarters\n\n(3/4) of a mile east of Eastern Avenue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.\n\nSuch land shall be used to establish a state park to be designated\n\nand known as the \"Cowboy Hall of Fame Park\". The Commission shall\n\nbe responsible for the establishment, operation, and maintenance of\n\nsuch park.\n\nB. The Commission may contract with the Oklahoma Capitol\n\nImprovement Authority, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation,\n\nthe Office of Management and Enterprise Services, the City of\n\nOklahoma City, the National Cowboy Hall of Fame Foundation, or any\n\nother entity for the purpose of landscaping, beautification, capital\n\nimprovement, operation, and maintenance of the \"State Capitol Park\"\n\nand the \"Cowboy Hall of Fame Park\".","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"1fe19517bced25f0da7836f49a86ac3f4cbcb2f911e9eb42067f96caae37c5a4","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-1811.4","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-1811.4c"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
