Stat. tit. 74, § 74-18n-2","heading":"Power of Attorney General to investigate insurance fraud","body":"– Confidentiality of records.\n\nA. If the Attorney General or a designee has reason to believe\n\nas a result of inquiry or complaint or as a result of referral from\n\nthe Insurance Department that a person has engaged in or is engaging\n\nin an act or practice that violates any administrative rule or\n\nstatute pertaining to Insurance Fraud, the Attorney General or a\n\ndesignee shall have all the powers of a district attorney.\n\nB. Nothing in this section shall be construed to waive, limit\n\nor impair any evidentiary privilege recognized by law.\n\nC. As used in this section, “records” include, but are not\n\nlimited to, anything for which a request to produce may be served\n\npursuant to Section 3234 of Title 12 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nD. Records, documents, reports and evidence obtained or created\n\nby the Office of the Attorney General as a result of insurance\n\nfraud, including workers’ compensation insurance fraud, shall be\n\nconfidential and shall not be subject to the Oklahoma Open Records\n\nAct or to outside review or release by any individual.
