Stat. tit. 74, § 74-18r","heading":"Human Trafficking Response Unit","body":"There is hereby created within the Office of the Attorney\n\nGeneral the Human Trafficking Response Unit, which shall:\n\n1. Maintain data in a central location on human trafficking\n\nthat shall be shared with law enforcement, criminal justice\n\nentities, social service agencies, and victim services programs and\n\ndocument information including, but not limited to, offenders,\n\nlocations, victims, types of trafficking, and trafficking\n\ntechniques. Provided, however, that any personal identifying\n\ninformation shall be de-identified using tokens or a similar method\n\nprior to the sharing of data in order to protect individuals'\n\nprivacy rights;\n\n2. Develop training programs that address prevention efforts\n\nand best practices on identifying and assisting victims of human\n\ntrafficking and support agencies in identifying at-risk environments\n\nfor human trafficking;\n\n3. Review current state agency policies to ensure they include\n\nbest practices to identify human trafficking victims and encourage\n\nreporting;\n\n4. Create an incentive program to encourage state agencies to\n\nhave personnel attend training programs and review policies;\n\n5. Appropriate targeted funding for victim services programs;\n\nand\n\n6.
