Stat. tit. 74, § 74-2.4","heading":"Change in number of congressional districts - Conflicts in","body":"board membership requirements.\n\nIf a change in the number of congressional districts creates a\n\nconflict between a requirement that a board, commission, authority,\n\nor other statutory entity shall have a specified number of members\n\nand a requirement that one or more members shall be appointed from\n\neach congressional district, the appointing authority shall make\n\nappointments as follows:\n\n1. If the conflict has been created by a decrease in the number\n\nof districts, the appointing authority shall make additional\n\nappointments as necessary to maintain a full board and may make said\n\nadditional appointments without regard to the appointee's district\n\nof residence; and\n\n2.
