Stat. tit. 74, § 74-21b","heading":"Assistant Attorneys General - Other employees -","body":"Appointments - Duties and compensation.\n\nThe following positions are hereby created in the Office of the\n\nAttorney General in lieu of all positions previously existing in\n\nsaid office: One First Assistant Attorney General, and such other\n\nAssistant Attorneys General, investigators, and other employees as\n\nthe Attorney General shall deem necessary for the proper performance\n\nof his or her duties.\n\nThe Attorney General shall appoint and fix the duties and\n\ncompensation of all Assistant Attorneys General, investigators, and\n\nother employees necessary to perform the duties imposed upon the\n\nAttorney General by law, payable from appropriations made for such\n\npurposes.\n\nCLEET-certified investigators of the Office of the Attorney\n\nGeneral shall have and exercise all the powers and authority of\n\npeace officers pursuant to rules promulgated by the Attorney\n\nGeneral.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6c16d22fdb6108ba001c74e512f87273aecdb64bc48921aa099146d5898dd9de","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-219a","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-2200"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
