Stat. tit. 74, § 74-2207","heading":"Duties of Executive Director","body":"Subject to the policies and rules of the Commission, the\n\nExecutive Director shall:\n\n1. Organize the Department in a manner to efficiently achieve\n\nthe objectives of the Commission;\n\n2. Prepare and submit plans for administering the programs of\n\nthe Commission;\n\n3. Prepare a personnel schedule, employ personnel, define\n\nduties, appoint technicians and consultants, and fix salaries or\n\ncompensation;\n\n4. Administer all policies formulated and adopted by the\n\nCommission;\n\n5. Enter into leases, grant easements and execute such\n\ninstruments as in the judgment of the Commission are necessary or\n\nconvenient to the exercise of those powers and duties of the\n\nCommission pursuant to the Oklahoma Tourism, Parks and Recreation\n\nEnhancement Act. The Executive Director shall provide a monthly\n\nreport to the Commission of actions taken as a result of such\n\ndelegation;\n\n6. Develop and implement a pay incentive plan for employees of\n\nthe Department. Incentive pay shall not be included in the base\n\nsalary of an employee, and shall be based on the goals and\n\neligibility established by the Commission on an annual basis.\n\nIncentive pay shall not exceed ten percent (10%) of the salary of\n\neach eligible employee or the total change in improved financial\n\nperformance for each facility over the previous fiscal year. Such\n\ncompensation shall not be subject to the requirements of Section\n\n840-2.17 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes. The Commission shall\n\npromulgate rules for the implementation of the plan; and\n\n7. Authorize any division of the Department to sell advertising\n\nin any of the publications of the division, on division property on\n\nwhich advertising is sold in the tourism industry, or on its web\n\nsite, provided that such advertising shall be approved by the\n\nDivision Director or designee prior to acceptance for publication.\n\nThe sale of advertising and negotiation of rates for the advertising\n\nshall not be subject to the Central Purchasing Act or the\n\nAdministrative Procedures Act.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"7d56b64f8bab00417bf589b6944eeff648a48c3d2a6b8cb20f686090c143a019","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-2206","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-2208"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
