Stat. tit. 74, § 74-2229.1A","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in Sections 1 and 2 of this act:\n\n1. \"Board\" or \"board of trustees\" means the board of trustees\n\nfor the Quartz Mountain Arts and Conference Center and Nature Park\n\ncreated in Section 4451 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes;\n\n2. \"Center\" means the Quartz Mountain Arts and Conference\n\nCenter and Nature Park;\n\n3. \"Commission\" means the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation\n\nCommission;\n\n4. \"Department\" means the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation\n\nDepartment;\n\n5. \"Quartz Mountain\" means all properties held in fee title,\n\nlease or otherwise, including interests in land, real estate options\n\nor real estate contracts, held by or on behalf of the Oklahoma State\n\nRegents for Higher Education, that are known and designated as the\n\nQuartz Mountain Arts and Conference Center, Quartz Mountain Lodge,\n\nand Quartz Mountain State Park, including the golf course, the\n\nproperty known as Baldy Point, described as the N 1/2 of the NE 1/4\n\nof Section 20, Township Five (5) North, Range Twenty (20) West of\n\nthe Indian Meridian, and the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 17,\n\nTownship Five (5) North, Range Twenty (20) West of the Indian\n\nMeridian, Greer County, Oklahoma, the property known as Devils\n\nCanyon, all buildings, improvements, appurtenances and associated\n\nlands, and all personal property including equipment, files,\n\nfixtures, furniture, and supplies that relate to the properties on\n\nthe effective date of this section, as determined by an inventory on\n\nfile as of the effective date of this section as required by law to\n\nbe updated no later than October 1, 2020, by inventory jointly\n\nconducted by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and the\n\nOklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, and any similar personal\n\nproperty purchased or delivered for use at Quartz Mountain after the\n\ndate of the inventory on file; and\n\n6. \"State Regents\" means the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher\n\nEducation.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"af66a7201a62b7fa65117dcd7cbc57605b5b277b00b5b6a0317ec55e5b2a9770","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-2229","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-2229.1b"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
