Stat. tit. 74, § 74-2242","heading":"Positions in unclassified service","body":"The following offices and positions in the Oklahoma Tourism and\n\nRecreation Department shall be in the unclassified service and shall\n\nnot be subject to the Merit System of Personnel Administration:\n\n1. The Executive Director, the Deputy Director, directors of\n\nthe divisions of the Department and administrative assistant of\n\neach, and not more than four positions involved in the executive\n\nmanagement of the Department;\n\n2. All positions in the Traveler Response Information Program;\n\n3. All professional or managerial positions whose principal\n\nfunction is one of the following:\n\na. marketing and promotion of travel and tourism to and\n\nwithin the state,\n\nb. promoting the state as a viable location for producing\n\nmotion pictures and television programs and for\n\nrecording music,\n\nc. developing, producing, and on-air broadcasting of\n\n“Discover Oklahoma”, the weekly promotional television\n\nprogram,\n\nd. not more than fifteen positions performing financial\n\nmanagement functions for the Department,\n\ne. not more than five positions performing human\n\nresources functions for the Department, and\n\nf. not more than two positions performing information\n\nservices functions for the Department;\n\n4. Any position associated with the development and production\n\nof “Oklahoma Today” magazine; and\n\n5.
