Stat. tit. 74, § 74-2259","heading":"Revenues for payment of bonds - Improvement bonds -","body":"Tourism information center bonds.\n\nA. The Commission shall prescribe and collect reasonable rates,\n\nfees, tolls or charges for the services, facilities and commodities\n\nrendered by all property of the Commission, a portion of which, may\n\nbe pledged to the payment of bonds issued pursuant to this act. The\n\nCommission shall revise the rates, fees, tolls or charges from time\n\nto time whenever necessary to ensure that the revenues to be derived\n\ntherefrom shall be fully sufficient to pay principal of and interest\n\non such bonds. The gross revenues derived by the Commission from\n\nthe operation of any part or parts of the properties of the\n\nCommission, but no revenues derived by the Commission through\n\nlegislative appropriation or from sources other than operation of\n\nthe properties of the Commission, may be pledged to the payment of\n\nprincipal and interest. Notwithstanding any other provisions of\n\nlaw, the Commission may use money derived from annual legislative\n\nappropriations on a year-to-year basis, as authorized by the\n\nLegislature, to repay any obligations to the Oklahoma Water\n\nResources Board pursuant to Sections 1085.51 and 1085.71 et seq. of\n\nTitle 82 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nB. The Commission is hereby authorized to construct\n\nimprovements in several parks and authorize the issuance of bonds\n\nfor all such improvements, and to pledge for the payment of the\n\nbonds and the interest thereon, revenues derived by the Commission\n\nfrom the operation of any or all of the parks in which any\n\nconsolidated bond issue has been authorized.\n\nC. The Commission is further authorized to construct state-of-\n\nthe-art tourism information centers on interstate highways\n\nincluding, but not limited to, entry points near the borders of the\n\nstate and major metropolitan areas, and authorize the issuance of\n\nbonds for all construction projects, and to pledge for the payment\n\nof such bonds and the interest thereon, revenues derived by the\n\nCommission from the lease or operation of any or all of the tourism\n\ninformation centers for which any such consolidated bond issue has\n\nbeen authorized.\n\nD. Any revenues which may be received by the Commission for the\n\nuse of such buildings or improvements, in whole or in part, shall be\n\nregarded as all other revenues of the Commission and shall be\n\nsubject to be pledged to the payment of bonds issued hereunder.\n\nEach bond shall recite in substance that such bond and the interest\n\nthereon is payable solely from the revenues pledged to the payment\n\nthereof, and that such bond does not constitute a debt of the\n\nCommission or of the state within the meaning of any constitutional\n\nor statutory limitation.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e5ec9a80bd758e8c3384d29360ceda91f9079e428e26bd5094114b78978d7c08","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-2258","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-2260"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
