Stat. tit. 74, § 74-2267","heading":"Refunding bonds","body":"The Commission may issue bonds under this act for the purpose of\n\nrefunding any obligations of the Commission previously issued under\n\nthis act, or may authorize and deliver a single issue of bonds\n\nhereunder, in part for the purpose of refunding such obligations and\n\nin part for the acquisition of additional properties or\n\nimprovements. Where bonds are issued under this section solely for\n\nrefunding purposes, such bonds may either be sold as above provided\n\nor delivered in exchange for the outstanding obligations. If sold,\n\nthe proceeds may be either applied to the payment of the\n\nobligations, refunded or deposited in escrow for the retirement of\n\nthe bond obligations. Nothing contained in this act shall be\n\nconstrued to authorize the refunding of any outstanding obligations\n\nwhich are not either maturing, callable for redemption under their\n\nterms or voluntarily surrendered by their holders for cancellation.\n\nAll bonds issued under this section shall in all respects be\n\nauthorized, issued, and secured in the manner provided for other\n\nbonds issued under this act and shall have all of the attributes of\n\nsuch bonds.
