Stat. tit. 74, § 74-227.9","heading":"State Auditor and Inspector Revolving Fund","body":"There is hereby created in the State Treasury a revolving fund\n\nfor the Office of the State Auditor and Inspector to be designated\n\nthe \"State Auditor and Inspector Revolving Fund\". The fund shall be\n\na continuing fund, not subject to fiscal year limitations, and shall\n\nconsist of all money paid to and received by the State Auditor and\n\nInspector from state agencies, boards and commissions authorized by\n\nstatute to pay the expense of audits and consulting services, money\n\nreceived for performance of audits and consulting services pursuant\n\nto contract entered into under the authority of Section 227.8 of\n\nthis title, funds received from state agencies, boards and\n\ncommissions receiving federal grants of funds which require periodic\n\naudits under said grants or any federal regulations, all money\n\nreceived from counties, cities, towns and public trusts in payment\n\nof audit expense, funds appropriated to state agencies, boards and\n\ncommissions for payment of audit expense, and fees collected\n\npursuant to Section 212A of this title. All monies accruing to the\n\ncredit of said fund are hereby appropriated and may be budgeted and\n\nexpended by the Office of the State Auditor and Inspector for\n\nexpenses necessary for the performance of duties imposed upon the\n\nOffice of the State Auditor and Inspector by law. Expenditures from\n\nsaid fund shall be made upon warrants issued by the State Treasurer\n\nagainst claims filed as prescribed by law with the Director of the\n\nOffice of Management and Enterprise Services for approval and\n\npayment.
