Stat. tit. 74, § 74-2274","heading":"Notes and bonds not to be debt of state or any political","body":"subdivision.\n\nRevenue notes and bonds of the Commission issued pursuant to the\n\nprovisions of this act shall not constitute a debt of the state or\n\nof any political subdivision thereof, or a pledge of the full faith\n\nand credit of the state, or of any political subdivision thereof,\n\nbut such notes and bonds shall be payable solely from the funds\n\nprovided therefrom. The forms of the notes and bonds so issued\n\nshall contain on the face thereof a statement to the effect that\n\nneither the state nor the Commission shall be obligated to pay the\n\nsame or the interest thereon except from the revenues of the\n\nDepartment pledged to the payment of such notes and bonds and that\n\nneither the faith and credit nor the taxing power of the state or\n\nany political subdivision thereof is pledged, or may hereafter be\n\npledged, to the payment of the principal of or interest on the notes\n\nand bonds. The notes and bonds so issued shall be exempt from\n\ntaxation by the State of Oklahoma and any political subdivision\n\nthereof, including the income therefrom, and any gain from the sale\n\nthereof. Notwithstanding any other provisions of law, the\n\nCommission may use money derived from annual legislative\n\nappropriations on a year-to-year basis, as authorized by the\n\nLegislature, to repay any obligations to the Oklahoma Water\n\nResources Board pursuant to Sections 1085.51 and 1085.71 et seq. of\n\nTitle 82 of the Oklahoma Statutes.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"884b0efa554f94497525eb2b619d45479217546a4e69ba6467c7edfd858cdfe8","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-2273","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-2275"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
