Stat. tit. 74, § 74-2302","heading":"Educational programs for schools","body":"The Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department may coordinate\n\nwith the Oklahoma Historical Society and the State Department of\n\nEducation to develop educational programs and materials for Oklahoma\n\nschools that promote learning both by reading about and visiting\n\nhistorical sites throughout the State of Oklahoma, and to promote\n\ntourism and heritage preservation throughout this state. The\n\nDepartment of Transportation may participate in this project by\n\ndeveloping and placing markers along the highways of this state to\n\nrecognize various historical sites incorporated into the materials\n\ndeveloped for this project.\n\nThe implementation of the provisions of this act shall be\n\ncontingent upon, and subject to, the availability of funding.\n\nThe Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, the Oklahoma\n\nHistorical Society, the State Department of Education, and the\n\nDepartment of Transportation are hereby granted authority to seek,\n\nsolicit, collect, and use public and/or private funding, donations,\n\ngrants, and gifts from any available source in implementing and\n\nmaintaining this project. Any funds received and collected for this\n\nproject may be deposited into the Heritage Preservation Revolving\n\nFund.
