The Department of Human Services, the Department of Mental\n\nHealth, the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, the Oklahoma Housing\n\nFinance Agency and any state agency with housing services may\n\ndevelop, administer, and conduct programs assisting eligible\n\nhomeless families, homeless individuals, and mentally ill persons\n\nwho are in need of housing to participate successfully in the\n\nprivate housing market and pay the amount of rent charged by the\n\nprivate sector for providing decent, safe, and sanitary housing.\n\nProvided, however, that any rent assistance available under such a\n\nprogram be combined with comprehensive case management and a self-\n\nsufficiency program.\n\nB. All state agencies specified in this section and any other\n\nstate agency with housing services, in accordance with state and\n\nfederal law, may solicit government funds and grants and seek\n\nprivate resources, to operate programs pursuant to subsection A of\n\nthis section.\n\nC. As funds are available, all state agencies specified in this\n\nsection and any other state agency with housing services, in\n\naccordance with state and federal law, may provide resources to\n\nlocal government agencies, local housing authorities or nonprofit\n\nagencies to operate programs established pursuant to subsection A of\n\nthis section.
