Stat. tit. 74, § 74-292.11","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma State Employees’ Direct Deposit Act:\n\n1. “Direct deposit system” means a method of electronically\n\ntransferring a payroll claim for an employee to a financial\n\ninstitution;\n\n2. “Employee” means any person in the classified, unclassified\n\nor exempt service of any state agency, board or Commission.\n\n“Employee” shall include any person who is an employee of the\n\nOklahoma State Regents for Higher Education or any institution under\n\nthe authority of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.\n\n“Employee” shall not include any person who is an employee of any\n\nschool district or political subdivision of this state; and\n\n3. “Employer” means any state agency, board, commission,\n\ndepartment, institution, authority, officer, bureau, council,\n\noffice, the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education or any\n\ninstitution under the authority of the State Regents for Higher\n\nEducation, or other entity created by the Oklahoma Constitution.\n\n“Employer” shall not include any school district or political\n\nsubdivision of this state.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"25d44f00f1e38264c651c08adad9c7fce47eaee3dd679751769c1aeba24dd604","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-292.10","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-292.12"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
