There is hereby created in the Office of Management and\n\nEnterprise Services an advisory council to be known as the \"State\n\nUse Advisory Council\". The Council shall consist of seven (7)\n\nmembers:\n\n1. A private citizen conversant with the employment needs of\n\npeople with significant disabilities who shall be appointed by and\n\nserve at the pleasure of the Governor to act as an advocate for the\n\nemployment needs of people with significant disabilities;\n\n2. The Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices or designee;\n\n3. The Director of the Department of Rehabilitation Services,\n\nor designee;\n\n4. One member who shall be a state use provider who shall be\n\nappointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate;\n\n5. An individual or a parent or guardian of an individual with\n\nsignificant disabilities who participates in vocational programming\n\nthrough a qualified nonprofit agency for individuals with\n\ndisabilities, to be appointed by the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives;\n\n6. The Director of Human Services, or designee; and\n\n7. A person employed by the Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices Central Purchasing Division as a contracting officer,\n\nappointed by the State Purchasing Director.\n\nB. The private citizens on the Council shall serve for a period\n\nof two (2) years and may be reappointed by the appointing authority.\n\nAny private citizen appointed pursuant to this section to fill a\n\nvacancy occurring prior to the expiration of the term for which the\n\npredecessor was appointed shall be appointed only for the remainder\n\nof the term.\n\nThe State Use Advisory Council shall meet a minimum of twice a\n\nyear for the purpose of exchanging ideas to market and improve the\n\nState Use Program.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6bd39dbbe7594e338725355b7dd33490c253363fc571cf52a20629b82aeb37ca","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-30.8","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-3001.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
