Stat. tit. 74, § 74-30a","heading":"Legislative findings","body":"The Legislature finds that drug and alcohol abuse is one of the\n\nmost critical problems facing law enforcement, education, and the\n\nsocial service agencies in the State of Oklahoma and that the\n\nproblem continues to escalate, threatening the quality of life in\n\nour state, destroying the integrity of the family, disrupting the\n\nlives of children and adults, increasing crime, and creating a drain\n\non the resources available to combat those many problems through the\n\nvarious state and local agencies in our state. In order to expand\n\nand enhance the ability of the state to combat the serious drug and\n\nalcohol problems, the Legislature finds that a centralized, well-\n\ncoordinated statewide effort is necessary to curb both the supply of\n\ndrugs and the demand for drugs and alcohol among Oklahomans,\n\nespecially our youth, and that a statewide plan should be\n\ncoordinated by the Attorney General of Oklahoma and developed by the\n\nvarious state and local law enforcement, education, and social\n\nservice agencies in order to direct the efforts and activities of\n\nall entities that are involved in efforts against drug and alcohol\n\nabuse.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"ac938ab3ecaae92285af2d59d5220010024797523d15b49eb910c3b065217a40","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-3009","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-30b"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
