Stat. tit. 74, § 74-315","heading":"May take testimony - Causing arrest - Report to Insurance","body":"Commissioner.\n\nThe said State Fire Marshal shall, when in his opinion further\n\ninvestigation is necessary, take or cause to be taken the testimony\n\non oath of all persons supposed to be cognizant of any facts or to\n\nhave means of knowledge in relation to the matter as to which an\n\nexamination is herein required to be made, and shall cause the same\n\nto be reduced to writing; and if he shall be of the opinion that\n\nthere is evidence sufficient to charge any person with the crime of\n\narson, or with the attempt to commit the crime of arson, or of\n\nconspiracy to defraud, or criminal conduct in connection with such\n\nfire, he shall cause such person to be arrested and charged with\n\nsuch offense, or either of them shall furnish to the proper\n\nprosecuting attorney all such evidence, together with the names of\n\nwitnesses and all information obtained by him including a copy of\n\nall pertinent and material testimony taken in the case, and shall\n\nreport to the Insurance Commissioner as often as such Commissioner\n\nshall require, his proceedings, and the progress made in all\n\nprosecutions under this act, and the result of all cases which are\n\nfinally disposed of.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d429f38649405b1bdd6ed6b193f52e881d2f1cab2baca951dd4e0ca7752a59bf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-314","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-316"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
