Criminal fines, penalties, fees or penalty assessments\n\nimposed by a municipal or district court pursuant to state law or\n\nmunicipal ordinance as the result of an arrest or a citation issued\n\nby an officer commissioned pursuant to this act shall be collected\n\nand distributed as required by law.\n\nB. The district attorney of the district where the unlawful\n\nconduct is alleged to have taken place shall have authority to\n\nprosecute such offense upon complaint being signed by a campus\n\npolice officer commissioned pursuant to this act. Any municipal\n\nordinance offense shall be prosecuted in a municipal court.\n\nC.
