Stat. tit. 74, § 74-3601.2","heading":"Chief executive officers - Minimum and maximum","body":"salaries.\n\nA. Beginning July 1, 2013, each agency, board, commission,\n\ndepartment or program in the executive branch of state government\n\nshall establish the salary of each of the chief executive officers\n\nfor which they have appointing authority. Such salary shall be set\n\nbetween the minimum and maximum of the range specified in the annual\n\ncompensation reports required by paragraph 5 of Section 840-1.6A of\n\nthis title, for full-time employees only.\n\nB. All increases require certification of the appointing\n\nauthority that said action can be implemented for the current fiscal\n\nyear and subsequent fiscal year without the need for additional\n\nfunding. The agency, board, commission, department or program shall\n\nreport increases granted under this section to the Office of\n\nManagement and Enterprise Services on an annual basis by August 1 of\n\neach year. The Office of Management and Enterprise Services shall\n\nforward a report of such increases to the Governor, President Pro\n\nTempore of the Senate, and Speaker of the House of Representatives\n\nno later than September 1 of each year.\n\nC. Every three (3) years beginning with fiscal year 2013, the\n\nOffice of Management and Enterprise Services shall review these\n\nsalary ranges and report on and make recommendations on proposed\n\nsalary ranges in its annual compensation reports mandated by\n\nparagraph 5 of Section 840-1.6A of this title.
