Stat. tit. 74, § 74-3915","heading":"Evaluation criteria","body":"In evaluating each statutory entity the appropriate House or\n\nSenate sunset committee may consider factors including, but not\n\nlimited to:\n\n1. The extent to which statutory changes have been recommended\n\nwhich would benefit the statutory entity;\n\n2. The extent to which operation of the statutory entity has\n\nbeen efficient and responsive to public needs;\n\n3. The extent to which the public has been encouraged to\n\nparticipate in rule- and decision-making as opposed to participation\n\nsolely by persons regulated;\n\n4. The extent to which complaints have been expeditiously\n\nprocessed to completion in the public interest;\n\n5. The extent to which affirmative action requirements of state\n\nand federal statutes and constitutions have been complied with by\n\nthe agency or the industry it regulates;\n\n6. An identification of other statutory entities having the\n\nsame or similar objectives along with a comparison of the cost and\n\neffectiveness of said statutory entities and any duplication of the\n\nstatutory entity under review;\n\n7. An examination of the extent to which the objectives of the\n\nstatutory entity have been achieved in comparison with the\n\nobjectives as initially set forth in the enabling legislation and an\n\nanalysis of any significant variance between project and actual\n\nperformance;\n\n8. A specification, to the extent feasible, in quantitative\n\nterms, of the objectives of said statutory entity for the next six\n\n(6) years; and\n\n9.
