The State Capitol Preservation Commission shall be composed\n\nof fifteen (15) members as follows:\n\n1. Three members shall be appointed by the Governor;\n\n2. Three members shall be appointed by the President Pro\n\nTempore of the Senate;\n\n3. Three members shall be appointed by the Speaker of the House\n\nof Representatives;\n\n4. One member shall be appointed by the Chief Justice of the\n\nOklahoma Supreme Court; and\n\n5. The following shall be ex officio members:\n\na. Chairman of the Oklahoma Arts Council,\n\nb. President of the Oklahoma Historical Society,\n\nc. Capitol Architect and Curator,\n\nd. Superintendent of the Capitol, and\n\ne. Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices or a designee.\n\nB. The initial term of office of the appointed members shall be\n\nas follows:\n\n1. One of the members appointed by the Governor, the President\n\nPro Tempore of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives, and the member appointed by the Chief Justice of\n\nthe Oklahoma Supreme Court shall serve a one-year term;\n\n2. One of the members appointed by the Governor, the President\n\nPro Tempore of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives shall serve a three-year term; and\n\n3. One of the members appointed by the Governor, the President\n\nPro Tempore of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives shall serve a five-year term.\n\nThe term of office for each successor shall be for five (5)\n\nyears. Any member of the Legislature who is appointed to the\n\nCommission shall serve only as long as the member is a member of the\n\nrespective house from which the member was appointed.\n\nC. The Commission shall elect a chair and a vice-chair from its\n\nmembership to serve for a period of two (2) years. Members of the\n\nCommission shall not be compensated except for reimbursement as\n\nprovided in the State Travel Reimbursement Act.\n\nD.
