The State Capitol Preservation Commission shall:\n\n1. Research, plan, and have control of modifications and decor\n\nof the interior and exterior of the Capitol and the Governor's\n\nMansion;\n\n2. Establish standards for the acquisition and display of works\n\nof art for public display in the Capitol and the Governor's Mansion\n\nand select such works. Such works of art shall be directly related\n\nto the history and culture of the State of Oklahoma;\n\n3. Establish procedures by which private contributions of\n\nsuitable art can be accepted for the Capitol and the Governor's\n\nMansion. The Commission is authorized to accept and make proper\n\ndisposition of works of art as may be donated to the Commission and\n\nthis state;\n\n4. Have authority to approve and submit to the Long-Range\n\nCapital Planning Commission any proposed modification, alteration,\n\nrenovation, repair, or construction on any part of the Capitol and\n\nthe Governor's Mansion; and\n\n5. Have final approval authority for any plans or programs for\n\nthe restoration, preservation, or display of fine art programs in\n\nand surrounding the Capitol and the Governor's Mansion.\n\nB.
