This section shall be known and may be cited as the “Ten\n\nCommandments Monument Display Act”.\n\nB. The State Capitol Preservation Commission or designee is\n\nhereby authorized to permit and arrange for the placement on the\n\nState Capitol grounds of a suitable monument displaying the Ten\n\nCommandments. The Ten Commandments monument shall use the same\n\nwords used on the monument at issue in Van Orden v. Perry, that the\n\nUnited States Supreme Court ruled constitutional. This monument\n\nshall be designed, constructed, and placed on the Capitol grounds by\n\nprivate entities at no expense to the State of Oklahoma. The State\n\nCapitol Preservation Commission or designee is authorized to assist\n\nprivate entities in selecting a location for the monument and\n\narranging a suitable time for its placement.\n\nC. In the event that the legality or constitutionality of the\n\nTen Commandments monument is challenged in a court of law, the\n\nOklahoma Attorney General or Liberty Legal Institute is hereby\n\nauthorized to prepare and present a legal defense of the monument.\n\nD.
