Stat. tit. 74, § 74-456.2","heading":"Joint committees of Legislature may be established","body":"In addition to those joint committees provided by law, the\n\nPresident Pro Tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives shall be authorized to establish joint committees of\n\nthe Legislature as they deem necessary. Said joint committees shall\n\nbe composed of members from the Senate to be appointed by the\n\nPresident Pro Tempore of the Senate, and members from the House to\n\nbe appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives. Joint\n\ncommittees and subcommittees of joint committees shall be authorized\n\nto meet when the Legislature is not in session, subject to such\n\nrestrictions as may be imposed by the President Pro Tempore of the\n\nSenate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
