The Commissioner of Public Safety may commission as peace\n\nofficers one member of the security team of the Oklahoma State\n\nSenate and one member of the security team of the Oklahoma House of\n\nRepresentatives, provided such commissioned officers must obtain and\n\nmaintain certification as full-time peace officers pursuant to\n\nSection 3311 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nB. Any such commissioned officers are hereby declared to be\n\npeace officers of the State of Oklahoma and shall be so deemed and\n\ntaken in all courts having jurisdiction of offenses against the laws\n\nof the state. Such commissioned officers shall have the powers and\n\nauthority now and hereafter vested by law in other peace officers,\n\nincluding the power of arrest, enforcement of the criminal laws of\n\nthis state, search and seizure, and the authority for serving or\n\nexecution of civil process.\n\nC. The jurisdiction of such commissioned officers shall include\n\nall powers of arrest granted to the sergeant at arms as set forth in\n\nSection 773 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma Statutes, but the\n\njurisdiction of such commissioned officers shall otherwise be\n\nlimited to the Capitol building, grounds, and parking lots described\n\nin Sections 15.1 and 15.3 of Title 73 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\nD. Any commission issued by the Commissioner pursuant to this\n\nsection shall be subject to all requirements set forth by the\n\nCommissioner, and the Commissioner may limit the power and scope of\n\nthe commission. Further, the Commissioner may suspend or revoke the\n\ncommission for any reason, and the commission shall be deemed\n\nterminated upon the commissioned officer's separation of service or\n\nreassignment to another position outside the security team of their\n\nrespective bodies.\n\nE.
