Except as provided in subsection B of this section, travel\n\nstatus for meals and lodging purposes shall be defined as absence\n\nfrom the officer's or employee's home area and/or official station\n\narea while performing assigned official duties. Provided however,\n\nemployees whose duties are normally mobile and statewide or\n\nmulticounty in nature shall not be deemed to have an official\n\nstation.\n\nB.
