Reimbursement for overnight lodging, while in official\n\ntravel status, may be made at an amount authorized by the provisions\n\nof the federal Government Services Administration (GSA) in its\n\nFederal Travel Regulation (FTR) 42 C.F.R. Section 300-1.1 et seq.\n\nand as updated in its FTR Bulletins for travel while away from home\n\nwithout additional documentation or the actual cost, if lower, per\n\nnight except as provided in subsections B, C, E, and G of this\n\nsection and Section 500.9A of this title. Receipts issued by the\n\nhotel, motel or other public lodging place shall accompany claims\n\nfor reimbursement.\n\nB. State officers or employees attending meetings, workshops,\n\nconferences or other objectives of trips which are conducted at a\n\ndesignated hotel, motel or other public lodging place or where\n\nlodging has been arranged for by the blocking of rooms or by rate\n\nreductions for the participants by the sponsor as evidenced by the\n\nannouncement or notice of the meeting, workshop, conference or other\n\nobjective shall be reimbursed the actual lodging expense not to\n\nexceed the single occupancy room rate charged by the designated\n\nhotel, motel or other public lodging place; provided, that the\n\nofficials or employees are in official travel status approved by the\n\nagency head or designee. Provided further, those state officers or\n\nemployees attending meetings, workshops, conferences or other\n\nobjectives of trips, which are conducted at a designated hotel,\n\nmotel or other public lodging place as provided by this subsection,\n\nwho choose to acquire less expensive lodging at another hotel, motel\n\nor other public lodging place shall be reimbursed the actual lodging\n\nexpense not to exceed the single occupancy room rate charged by the\n\ndesignated hotel, motel or other public lodging place. Provided\n\nfurther, those state officers or employees so choosing this option\n\nshall be reimbursed for local transportation costs incurred\n\ntraveling between such optional lodging and the designated hotel,\n\nmotel or other public lodging place not to exceed the difference\n\nbetween the cost of the designated lodging and the cost of the\n\noptional lodging. Receipts issued by the hotel, motel or other\n\npublic lodging place shall accompany claims for reimbursement.\n\nC. State officers and employees who have been required to\n\nattend hearings or meetings of any congressional committee or\n\nsubcommittee or any federal agency, board or commission shall be\n\nreimbursed for their actual and necessary travel and lodging\n\nexpenses; however, the agency head must approve any claims in\n\nconnection with such expenses.\n\nD. Reimbursement for meals and lodging on out-of-state trips\n\nshall not begin more than one (1) calendar day before the meeting,\n\nworkshop, conference or other objective of trip begins and shall not\n\ncontinue more than one (1) calendar day after said meeting,\n\nworkshop, conference or other objective of trip ends. This twenty-\n\nfour-hour limit shall also apply for in-state travel when the agency\n\ndetermines that travel is of a duration where overnight travel prior\n\nto or after the trip objective would be necessary.\n\nE. Reimbursement for meals and lodging incurred in official\n\ntravel in areas outside of the United States to implement the\n\nobjectives of contracts, grants, agreements or gifts for which funds\n\nfrom these sources are furnished shall be reimbursed from said funds\n\nat actual cost not to exceed the amount authorized for United States\n\nGovernment employees in its periodical publication entitled\n\n\"Standard Regulations (Government Civilians, Foreign Areas),\n\nDepartment of State, Washington, DC\". Provided, however,\n\nreimbursement for travel to points outside of the United States,\n\nwhether performed under authority of contract, grant, agreement or\n\notherwise, shall not begin more than two (2) calendar days before or\n\nend more than two (2) calendar days after the objective of the trip.\ntitled\n\n\"Standard Regulations (Government Civilians, Foreign Areas),\n\nDepartment of State, Washington, DC\". Provided, however,\n\nreimbursement for travel to points outside of the United States,\n\nwhether performed under authority of contract, grant, agreement or\n\notherwise, shall not begin more than two (2) calendar days before or\n\nend more than two (2) calendar days after the objective of the trip.\n\nF. Claims submitted to the Director of the Office of Management\n\nand Enterprise Services for payment under the provisions of this\n\nsection shall be certified to by the principal fiscal officer or\n\ncontract and grant administrator of each agency. Such officer shall\n\ncertify that such claim complies with and is authorized under this\n\nsection.\n\nG. The Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices may authorize reimbursement for overnight lodging while in\n\nofficial travel status within the State of Oklahoma at a rate of up\n\nto one hundred fifty percent (150%) of the amount authorized in\n\nsubsection A of this section if it is determined that no lodging was\n\navailable at the maximum rate set out in subsection A of this\n\nsection.
