Stat. tit. 74, § 74-5017.1","heading":"Enforcement of energy conservation programs - Abolition","body":"of Energy Conservation Services Division of Corporation Commission -\n\nClassification of transferred employees.\n\nThe Oklahoma Department of Commerce shall have the authority to\n\nestablish, administer and enforce state and federal energy\n\nconservation programs including, but not limited to, implementing\n\nThe Energy Conservation Act of 1975 (P.L. 94-163), National Energy\n\nExtension Service Act (P.L. 95-39, 42 U.S.C. Section 7001 et seq.)\n\nand the National Conservation Policy Act (P.L. 95-619), except as\n\notherwise provided by law.\n\nThe Energy Conservation Services Division of the Oklahoma\n\nCorporation Commission is hereby abolished. All personnel,\n\nequipment, files, fixtures, funds, furniture, publications and\n\nsupplies, and all duties, functions, authority and contractual\n\nobligations that relate to the Energy Conservation Services Division\n\nof the Oklahoma Corporation Commission are hereby transferred to and\n\nvested in the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.\n\nEmployees transferred to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce\n\nshall be classified and subject to the provisions of the Merit\n\nSystem of Personnel Administration as provided for in the Oklahoma\n\nPersonnel Act. The salaries, grade and/or class of the employees\n\ntransferred shall be adjusted to be commensurate with comparable\n\npositions in the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.\n\nThe full-time-equivalent employee positions funded through the\n\nfederal energy conservation programs outlined in this section shall\n\nterminate upon the exhaustion of said federal funding.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"041aa2108b162055a3b10d177dd886d20561a9cb6c16ff0fd0a92f77f7fe4edd","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-5017","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-5017.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
