Stat. tit. 74, § 74-5017.7","heading":"Oklahoma Chief International Protocol Office - Creation","body":"and operation by Department of Commerce.\n\nThe Oklahoma Department of Commerce shall serve as the Oklahoma\n\nChief International Protocol Office and provide a resource for\n\ninformation concerning proper protocol with regard to international\n\ndiplomats and officials and shall cooperate with other state\n\nagencies already engaged in international relations to facilitate\n\nand coordinate government resources for optimal leveraging in\n\nachieving the common goal of advancing Oklahoma to the forefront of\n\nthe global community. An associate with the Oklahoma Department of\n\nCommerce may also serve as the official representative of the\n\nGovernor to ensure that the growing numbers of international\n\nofficials traveling to Oklahoma are warmly received and enjoy\n\nproductive visits to the state. When dealing with international\n\nvisitors of foreign governments, the associate may greet chiefs of\n\nstate, heads of government and other appropriate functionaries, and\n\nmay provide support to coordinate, arrange and facilitate meetings\n\nand other engagements between the Governor and international\n\nleaders.\n\nThe Oklahoma Department of Commerce shall, for the encouragement\n\nof international trade opportunities for Oklahoma businesses,\n\nencourage and assist private efforts toward the development of\n\ninterpersonal relationships between citizens of this state and\n\ncitizens of other nations.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"5a837bee7365017e07363e8247bdbb3f571725adb033daa512343af7e81b5bd9","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-5017.5","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-5017.8"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
