Stat. tit. 74, § 74-5017.8","heading":"Financial assistance program for the employment of","body":"part-time city managers or planners.\n\nContingent on funding, the Oklahoma Department of Commerce may\n\npartner with a statewide organization to develop and coordinate a\n\nfinancial assistance program for qualifying municipalities having a\n\npopulation of less than five thousand (5,000) according to the\n\nlatest Federal Decennial Census to employ a part-time city manager\n\nor a part-time city planner pursuant to Section 8-116 of Title 11 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes. The statewide organization shall demonstrate\n\nto the Oklahoma Department of Commerce that it is exempt from\n\ntaxation under federal law and designated pursuant to the Internal\n\nRevenue Code, 26 U.S.C., Section 170(a) and that it has represented\n\nmunicipalities, had statutory functions and conducted training\n\nprograms for municipalities for at least fifteen (15) years prior to\n\nNovember 1, 2005.
